Biography
Courtney primarily practices in the areas of civil insurance defense and personal injury law. She was licensed by the State Bar of Texas in 2019 and is a member of the Smith County Bar Association. She is also on the board of the Smith County Young Lawyers Association.
Courtney was born and raised in Syracuse, New York. Prior to attending law school she relocated to Southern California and received a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, in Communication Studies from California State University, Long Beach. She also worked for a few years as a wedding and events planner in Los Angeles, California. Courtney relocated to Tyler following her graduation from Baylor Law School in February 2019.
While in law school she served as the Vice President of LEAD Counsel and Women's Legal Society. While serving as the Vice President of LEAD Counsel she helped organized the Making a Difference legal conference, which focused on leadership and making a impact in one's community.
Now, she enjoys visits back to New York and California for reunions with family and friends on holidays and special occasions. Since settling into Tyler, in her spare time, she enjoys baking, exploring the ever expanding local food and entertainment scene, and taking her dogs on hikes in Lindsey Park.
