B.A. from University of California at Berkeley in Economics and History (Honors) J.D. from Baylor University 1980. Board Certified in both Civil Trial Law and Personal Injury Trial Law since 1989. Past President of the Smith County Bar Association. Member of the American Board of Trial Advocates. Member of the National Institute for Trial Advocacy. Super Lawyer 2022. Completed mediator training through the University of Houston School of Law. Has tried hundreds of jury trials in both state and federal court. Licensed to practice in the Eastern, Western, Northern and Southern Districts of Texas. Participated in hundred of mediations as a party and served as a mediator in handling a number of contested disputes. Prepared and taught Continuing Education Courses on insurance and legal related issues approved by the Texas Department of Insurance for Continuing Education credit.
